Southwest PGA
Many tournaments mentioned here are under the Southwest PGA website. For more information on many different junior golf circuits, check out their website:
-
Firebirds Club
Firebirds tournaments are a great way to start off in junior tournaments. All rounds are 9 holes or less. Divisions are organized based on scoring averages, not age. If this is your first time entering a tournament, I recommend starting here.
-
X3 Short Course Events
Short course tournaments that are great for beginners. Younger golfers will enjoy these!
-
U.S. Kids
U.S. Kids tournaments are great tournaments to play for intermediate-advanced level players. Distances and teeboxes are determined by age. U.S. Kids is also a great brand to get high-quality junior equipment!
-
Drive, Chip, and Putt
DCP is a tournament that happens once every summer. It consists of only 9 shots: 3 drives, 3 chips, and 3 putts. It is free and can win you a trip to The Masters, so don’t forget to sign up!
-
PGA Jr. League
PGA Jr. League is a super fun way to get into competitive golf. It is a team-based system where each team has 10-12 players. Tournaments are played in a scramble format, so you will always be playing with a teammate!
